This is a highly detailed map displaying broadband availability across the state, as well as cities, county boundaries, road information, national and state lands, and water features. Connect North Carolina, in conjunction with North Carolina's broadband providers, worked together to create broadband availability maps, current as of August 6, 2009.

This map offers information regarding household density in the areas where broadband is not available.  The map illustrates the potential number of subscribers per square mile, thereby providing a better understanding of the market in each unserved area.
